The Scarecrow (Excerpt)
Personal Story Sequence (2020)
One stormy night, a man decides to build a scarecrow of his recently deceased wife. At the stroke of midnight, lightning strikes and the scarecrow magically comes to life.
This is a poetic tale about dealing with grief and the power of love.
During this excerpt, Maggie the Scarecrow cares for Tad as he recovers from the shock of seeing her come to life. Over the course of the scene, Tad is reminded of the experiences he shared with his wife and begins to trust the scarecrow.
